No I'm only saying it would have been a very cool meeting of like-minded musical minds and cultural pioneers at an important time and place in history. The Grateful Dead did with music what Dylan did with language in many ways. They both used their respective talents as tools to raise consciousness and express things that are not understood in black and white terms. Ken Kesey when he gave his eulogy for Jerry Garcia said something to the effect that "we are not talking about a "gitar" player here. Jerry Garcia used to like to get inside you with his music and tinker with your wiring" Bob Dylan did the same with his words.I can listen to a song like Wicked Messenger or Baby Blue 10,000 times and it will tell me about 10.000 different stories, a different one each time I hear it. The same is true with Grateful Dead music. The long and the short of it is that it would have been an event for the ages had the two paths crossed at that particular moment in time instead of years later.
